Memorials
As a development to my photographs of memorial benches I looked at over layering the views from the benches on Photoshop.
Working in a similar way to that of my drawing work from last year.
Then it struck me what would this image look like printed onto a life size bench, and so the mini benches were born.

Too many bobbins
Now a shift of focus and it back down to learning the art of lace making.
The lace is worked with pairs of bobbins so a simple piece of lace requires a minimum of 6 pairs of bobbins.
But as you can see the more complex the pattern the more bobbins you need - and lots of pins.

Fundraising
I want to apologise for my tardyness at posting on my blog over the last few months and update you on what I have been doing ...
On December 14th and 15th my professional practice group held a bacon bap sale to raise funds for our exhibition. As a group we designed the poster below.
Then a few of us went out to get the vital ingredients.
The event went well earning vital funds for our exhibition - but now my job as treasurer really has to begin.
