My inspiration comes from the history of objects and the marks of time they represent. This piece investigates their resultant effects on our environment. The natural cycle of materials has great impact on often overlooked and rejected objects from the world around us. My current work investigates this cycle and how nature can destroy yet recreate great beauty, generating organic structures from everyday objects. The piece creates a juxtaposition between original and recycled elements whilst highlighting their meticulous construction, both by man and nature.
